The LPG price in Madhya Pradesh is mainly determined by the state-run oil companies and the same is subject to change on a monthly basis based on the global crude fuel rates. The rise in crude oil leads to a rise in the LPG rates in Madhya Pradesh and vice-versa. The government of India is currently providing domestic LPG Gas cylinder (14.2 kgs) in Madhya Pradesh at subsidized rates to the low-income section of the society. How to apply for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana?

All the eligible women candidates from the below poverty line (BPL) families can apply for the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana on filling up the Ujjwala Yojana KYC application form.

Below Poverty Line is an economic benchmark used by the Indian government to identify individuals and households in the country which are in need of government assistance and aid.

The government uses various parameters to determine the people who fall under BPL families and they usually differ from one state to another.

The candidates have to fill in the two-page application form and submit the required documents along with the filled in form to the respective authorities to secure the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.

The candidates have to provide the basic information like Name, Contact numbers, Jan Dhan/ Bank account details, Aadhaar card number and so on as mentioned in the application form. They should also specify the requirement of the type of cylinder for domestic consumption purpose – 5 kgs or 14.2 kgs.

The KYC Application form for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana can be downloaded online and on after filling the same it can be submitted to the nearest LPG outlet supported with required documents to secure the benefits of the scheme.

After scrutiny of the application form and verification of the details, the oil marketing companies will issue the connection to the eligible beneficiaries.
